About OptionDesk
What this is, and why it exists
During KEAM option registration, students have to prioritise hundreds of college-branch combinations, knowing only their own rank and category.
The official cutoff data that decisions should be based on is real and public. However, it is published as large allotment PDFs (one per year, per phase) that are accurate but not easy to search, filter, or compare.
OptionDesk takes that same official data and makes it explorable: searchable by college and branch, filterable by year, phase, and reservation category, and readable without cross-referencing several documents by hand. It does not add information that wasn't already public. It organises it.
How it works
OptionDesk is organised around four core tools, each built on the same underlying dataset:
Rank Analysis
Enter your rank and category to see likely and possible admission options.
Admission Explorer
Browse and filter individual cutoff records directly by year, phase, branch, and category.
College Explorer
Browse colleges and open any college's full profile and cutoff history.
College Rankings
See where colleges stand in the official KIRF institutional rankings alongside KEAM data.
Where the data comes from
Every cutoff record on this site originates from CEE Kerala's official KEAM allotment PDFs (all published documents across 2022 - 2025).
Each record kept internally is traceable back to the specific source document and page it was read from. Nothing is estimated, interpolated, or crowd-sourced.
College ranking data is sourced separately, from the Kerala Institutional Ranking Framework (KIRF), published by the Kerala State Higher Education Council. When a KIRF entry doesn't correspond to a college in this dataset, it's shown without a link rather than guessed at.
Engineering-only Scope
KEAM's allotment data historically also included architecture (B.Arch) and pharmacy (B.Pharm) programmes. Those records, and the colleges that offered only those programmes, have been intentionally excluded, so that every count and every cutoff shown on this site refers to an engineering seat. This was a deliberate scope decision, not a data gap.
What this is NOT
OptionDesk is not an admission prediction platform. It does not compute probabilities or forecast the future. The "Likely", "Possible", and "Low Chance" categories are simply a way to read historical data clearly.
Admission outcomes depend on seat availability, changing reservation policies, and the choices of other students—factors historical data cannot capture. OptionDesk shows you exactly what happened in the past, but the final decision is yours.
Privacy & Data
OptionDesk has no accounts and no login. Your rank and category in Rank Analysis are only ever stored in the page's URL, so a result can be bookmarked or shared.
Nothing you enter is saved on a server. No personal data is collected anywhere on this site.
Found something wrong?
If a cutoff, ranking, or college detail here doesn't match the official source, that's exactly the kind of thing worth telling us about. and we'll look into it.
Every figure presented in OptionDesk is derived from publicly available admission data. Our goal is to make that information easier to explore, not to replace your own judgement.
